Sugar Rush Super Scatter is a cluster game, not a pays-anywhere one. Five or more matching sweets have to touch, side by side or top to bottom, on the 7x7 grid to pay. Winners clear and new sweets drop in from above, so one spin can chain several clusters. The multiplier is tied to position. When a winning symbol disappears it leaves a mark on its spot. A second win on that same spot gives it a 2x multiplier, a third doubles it to 4x, and it keeps doubling up to 1,024x.
In the base game those marks are wiped at the start of every spin, so the big multipliers need a long tumble chain in a single spin. In the free spins round they are not wiped. Every marked spot and its multiplier stay on the grid until the round ends, and the longer the round runs the more of the grid turns into multiplied territory. That is where the 50,000x max win lives, and why the game is rated high volatility.
Three to seven scatters trigger the round with 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins. The super scatter is the new piece. If the triggering combination includes one, two, three or four super scatters, you are paid an instant 100x, 500x, 5,000x or 50,000x the stake before the round even starts. Four super scatters at once is the full max win paid on the spot. At R2 a spin a single super scatter in the trigger is R200 in hand before a free spin is played.
The ante bet costs 5x the base stake per spin, so R2 becomes R10, for a far higher chance of landing the round. The bonus buy is 100x the stake for the standard free spins and 500x for the super version. Scorebet carries the Pragmatic Play catalogue under its Northern Cape Gambling Board licence. The 96.58% RTP does not change with either option; the speed at which a balance moves does.
What the features do
- Cluster pays: five or more matching sweets touching side by side or top to bottom on the 7x7 grid pay out
- Multiplier spots: a winning symbol marks its position, a second win on that spot gives 2x, and each further win on it doubles the value up to 1,024x
- Free spins: 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatters give 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins, and the marked spots keep their multipliers for the whole round
- Super scatter: one, two, three or four of them in the triggering combination pay an instant 100x, 500x, 5,000x or 50,000x the stake
- Ante bet: 5x the base stake per spin for a much higher chance of triggering the free spins
- Bonus buy: 100x the stake for the free spins, 500x for a super version
Before you spin
- Clusters need to touch. Five scattered sweets that do not connect pay nothing, unlike the pays-anywhere Pragmatic games.
- Centre spots get hit most. Watch the middle of the grid during free spins, because that is where the 64x and 128x marks build.
- The 5x ante bet turns R2 into R10 a spin. Fifty spins with it on is R500, more than two bonus buys.
- A single super scatter pays 100x instantly. That is already a good round at most stakes; do not measure it against the 50,000x cap.
Sugar Rush Super Scatter questions
What is the RTP of Sugar Rush Super Scatter?
96.58% on the standard version. Operators can run 95.53% or 94.52% settings. It is a long-run average and a single session can land far either side of it.
How do the spot multipliers work?
A winning symbol marks its grid position. The second win on that spot gives it 2x, and each further win on the same spot doubles it, up to 1,024x. In the base game the marks reset every spin; in the free spins they stay until the round ends.
What does the super scatter do?
If the scatter combination that triggers the free spins includes one, two, three or four super scatters, you are paid 100x, 500x, 5,000x or 50,000x the stake instantly, on top of the round itself.
How many free spins do you get?
Three scatters give 10, four give 12, five give 15, six give 20 and seven give 30. All marked spots and their multipliers stay in place for the whole round.
