If you have played the original Gates of Olympus, you already know most of this game. Eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid pay, the winners clear, new symbols tumble in, and Zeus drops multiplier orbs worth 2x to 500x that get added up at the end of the sequence. Four scatters start 15 free spins and the orb total carries across the whole round. The RTP is the same 96.5%.
The new part is the Super Scatter, a gold scatter that only matters on the spin that triggers the round. Land one of them alongside the four normal scatters and the game pays 100x the stake on the spot, before a single free spin is played. Two pay 500x, three pay 5,000x and four pay 50,000x, which is the max win and ten times the cap on the original game.
That instant prize is what pushes the volatility up. The base game pays out the same way as before, the free spins build in the same way, but the real money now sits in a trigger that rarely carries more than one Super Scatter. At R2 a spin, one Super Scatter on the trigger is R200 in hand, and two is R1,000, with the free spins still to come on top of it.
Scorebet carries the Pragmatic Play catalogue, so the ante bet and the bonus buys are offered where the game settings allow. The ante bet adds 50% to each spin and puts more scatters and Super Scatters on the reels. The bonus buy costs 100x the stake, and the Super Free Spins buy costs 500x and guarantees that every orb that lands is worth at least 10x. None of that changes the RTP by more than a few hundredths of a percent.
What the features do
- Super Scatter: a special scatter that pays an instant prize when it lands with the 4 scatters that trigger the round, 100x for one, 500x for two, 5,000x for three and 50,000x for four
- Tumbling reels: winning symbols clear and the grid refills, so one paid spin can produce several wins in a row
- Multiplier orbs from 2x to 500x that are added together at the end of a tumble sequence and applied to that spin's win
- Free spins: multiplier values stack into a running total that applies to every win until the round ends, with 3 more scatters adding 5 spins
- Ante bet: pay 50% more per spin to put more scatters and Super Scatters on the reels and double the chance of the round
- Bonus buy: 100x the stake for the normal free spins, or 500x for Super Free Spins where every multiplier orb is worth at least 10x
Before you spin
- The 50% ante bet is dearer than the 25% on the original. R2 a spin becomes R3, so set the stake with that in mind before switching it on.
- A Super Scatter pays nothing unless the four normal scatters are on the same board. Seeing one land on a dead spin is not a near miss, it is just a symbol.
- The 500x Super Free Spins buy is R1,000 at R2 a spin. The 10x floor on orbs makes rounds steadier, not necessarily bigger, so compare it with five normal buys first.
- Decide what a good round looks like before you start. A 50,000x cap makes a 30x return feel small, and that feeling is how budgets get chased.
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter questions
What is the RTP of Gates of Olympus Super Scatter?
The standard setting returns 96.5% over the long run. Operators can also run it at 95.5% or 94.5%, and the ante bet version is listed a touch higher at 96.55%. A single session can land anywhere.
What does the Super Scatter actually do?
It pays an instant prize on the spin that triggers the free spins. One Super Scatter with 4 or more normal scatters pays 100x the stake, two pay 500x, three pay 5,000x and four pay 50,000x. On any other spin it is just a scatter.
What is the maximum win on Gates of Olympus Super Scatter?
50,000x the stake, which is R100,000 at R2 a spin. The only route to it is four Super Scatters on the triggering spin. The free spins themselves cap at the same figure.
How much does the bonus buy cost?
The regular free spins buy costs 100x the stake, so R200 at R2 a spin. The Super Free Spins buy costs 500x, R1,000 at the same stake, and guarantees every multiplier orb is worth 10x or more.
