22.  General Terms and Conditions

22.1 Domicilium citandi et executandi:

The residential address provided by the Customer on the account application form serves as their official address for all legal notifications related to these Terms.

22.2 ScoreBet's Domicilium citandi et executandi:

ScoreBet's physical address as reflected on its website serves as its official address for all legal notifications related to these Terms.

22.3 Change of Domicile:

The Customer has the right to change their address by providing one week’s prior written notice to ScoreBet.

22.4 Methods of Giving Notice:

Notice to ScoreBet can be delivered by hand, posted by registered mail, or transmitted by fax or email to ScoreBet’s official address. Each method has specific rules regarding deemed receipt.

22.5 Amendment of Terms:

ScoreBet reserves the right to amend, replace, or delete any terms in these Terms and Conditions. The current terms are always available on ScoreBet’s website, and it is the Customer’s responsibility to stay updated with the prevailing terms.

22.6 Waiver:

Any relaxation, concession, or extension granted by ScoreBet to the Customer does not constitute a waiver of any of ScoreBet’s rights as set forth in these Terms.

22.7 Disclosure of Information:

ScoreBetmay disclose relevant customer information to credit bureaus, banks, regulatory agencies, or other entities as necessary for verification or other purposes, and the Customer has no recourse against ScoreBet for doing so.

22.8 Entire Agreement:

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between ScoreBet and the Customer, superseding any previous agreements, representations, or warranties.

22.9 Amendments and Waivers:

No addition to, variation, cancellation, or novation of these Terms, and no waiver of any rights arising from these Terms, is valid unless it is in writing and signed by ScoreBet and the Customer or their authorized representatives.

22.10 Negotiable Instruments:

Any negotiable instrument received by ScoreBet from the Customer (like a promissory note or bill of exchange) does not constitute novation of the debt, and the Customer waives any legal remedies provided for by law in respect thereof.

22.11 Official Match Results:

The outcome of any match is determined by the official results of the league or tournament. If these results change for any reason, the updated result will be used for payment purposes.

22.12 Deposit Verification:

If a Customer deposits funds using a credit card or cheque card, they must send ScoreBet a copy of the front of the card used. Failure to do so may result in failed withdrawal requests.

22.13 Applicable Gambling Legislation:

Any bet placed by the Customer is governed by the Northern Cape Gambling Act, 2008, and its regulations and rules, as amended from time to time. It is the Customer’s responsibility to be aware of these provisions.

22.14 Compliance with Gambling Board Policies:

The Customer undertakes to strictly adhere to any policies, guidelines, or directives issued by the Northern Cape Gambling Board relating to the Customer or betting in general.

22.15 Governing Law:

These Terms and the contractual relationship between the Customer and ScoreBet are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

22.17 Exchange Control Regulations:

If a Customer places a bet from a location outside the South African Monetary Area, the bet is subject to applicable exchange control regulations and the laws of the foreign jurisdiction. ScoreBet is not liable if it cannot remit funds to a foreign account due to regulatory restrictions.

22.18: Accuracy of Information

ScoreBet makes efforts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information displayed on its website regarding events. However, this information should be used as a guide only, and ScoreBet assumes no liability for inaccuracies. Disputes should refer to the official site of the sport in question.
